WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED:

On or about 30 April 2015, I was in Starbucks and I saw Ms. Shields walk by.  I had parked up the street and politely asked if she needed a good parking spot- 'it took me 45minutes to find it.'  She walked off rather abruptly.  I thought it odd because Just two months before, in November, Ms. Shields declared to the world that her mother had been protecting me.  We even shared a few stories and it was shared with the world that I was "sweet and that 'it' was really nice." 

I later went to my car- still parked in the spot I had offered, scratched- vandalized.  

I reacted going to social media- Twitter and voiced my upset.  Twitter, mind you is protected under the first amendment according to a Supreme Court Ruling 

Incidentally, I do park in the West Village and if I'm in-front of someone's home that I know, I've offered up my spot many times- despite how difficult it is to find parking.  I've even offered to help carry in furniture.  It's what any good neighbor would do.  

'forget the celebrity BS.

A police report was made and the past was re-created.  It was recreated to make something look one way with only one motive- a 'stay-away.    Lies were said and the past recreated to look nothing like it actually was or had already been detailed at the time of occurrence.  

BS.

Despite how much a celebrity shares one might argue that all the social media may not be a good thing.  Now, many celebrities participate in social media to promote themselves.  But, when they do something wrong or someone in their employ does as representation, they should be held accountable.

The West Village is home to an eclectic group of people and where I've called home since 1999.  In general it's a calm and peaceful place to live and for the most part we live as a collective.  No one cares what a person does or is impressed by status.  ​

Since Sandy Hook, a gun has been fired on school grounds nearly once a week....

There have been 170 shootings on school campuses in the U.S. since 20 children (ages 6 + 7) and six adults were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary school in Newtown, Conn. on Dec. 14, 2012 according to Everytown For Gun Safety, an advocacy group.

Incidents are classified as school shootings when a firearm was discharged inside a school building or on campus.​

FACTS:

My View:

​The Sandy Hook Tragedy of 2012 in CT. affected me more than most.  In 2009, I had the great privilege to raise a little boy:

In the first 2 years of his life, I was the primary care-giver.  Never in a million years did I ever think I'd have this opportunity, and yet I did.  

When you have a child, you change.  Things don't matter as much and your main/if not all concern is being the best version of yourself to be the example whom you'd like your boy to be.  

I've been involved in child-protection since 1991 when Matthew Broderick first introduced me to it.  Later in 1995, I would incorporate a foundation that would fight child-abuse and by 2009, we were an organization celebrating kids- all kids!

Mr. Rinaldi dropped off toys.  

Toys?  These were not toys- the items dropped off were sacred.  These stuffed animals were rescued from all the memorial gifts sent to Newtown, CT that would've otherwise been destroyed to be a part of 'sacred-soil.'

Contacting without a legitimate purpose?  
***Is the slaughter of 20 six + seven year-olds and 6 adults not a good enough reason?

The Truth

Living in the West Village, I've become friendly with most of the neighborhood.  There's kind-of-an unspoken word that we all look out for each other.  Well, at least there was...  

At some point, I had seen Brooke with her dog, and another time I had seen the same dog with a gentleman named Mike Zahara and a Nanny named Kelly Corrigan.  Before the Sandy Hook Memorial rescued keep-sakes were sent, I had asked Ms. Corrigan's permission.  I even asked if I could follow up.  

Sarah Jessica Parker welcomed the Sandy Hook Memorial items, and politely requested additional correspondence be continued through her assistant at another location.  Liv Tyler was kind, and although additional Memorial stuffed animals were sent to Mr. Hugh Jackman I have yet to hear word.  Dr, Oz appreciated them, and Mr. Anderson Cooper posed with his for a picture.  

Legit?  I'd say wanting to preserve humanity at it's best to serve as a future permanent memorial is legitimate.
